Always seems to be something. Usually those inconvenient irritants known as my family, (JK Honey)

We've been to the boat 3 times this year and had a good time each time but this weekend it will be above 90 deg all weekend with non tornadic winds, yes they are forecasting wind!

I am going sailing!!

What about you?

So I got carried away, Polls are fun

Can't find the option that says "live in other hemisphere" - cruel poll.

Foggy and cold here.

The Weather Channel said Kansas winds are going to be 700 to 800 MPH this weekend :P , so I am going to head out to the beloved lady with a orbital polisher and massage her blue exterior into a fine shine.

Translation = I banged the boat into the dock too many times last season and I hope I can buff the mistakes out so I don't look like a dork.

Maybe Monday the winds will be less than 20 and we can get the sails out for the first time. I am anxious.

Unfortunately, not going sailing. It's a car weekend this time. Gotta put one of my antique cars in the local car show and also have to go out to Harrisburg to put one of them into a new car show my brother has started.

We're taking the "T" to a car show also. Maybe we'll get to look at the "M" that is docked at the Sanford Marina. (my favorite carshow....right across from the marina).

We usually stay away from the weekends...retired...dont have to go play with the nuts...

Have a great weekend...hope to be out there around Tuesday.

Its been in the high 80's here lately, this weekend is calling for low 70's. Winds should be perfect with a low preasure system from the North for a couple of days. Friday night and just brought my 17 year old son Jason home from the dentist, all 4 wisdom teeth pulled, he's not a happy sailor. I work Saturday shift at the firehouse. With the new Mooring bouy and all, you can bet I will be out Sun, Mon, Teus, Wed. Along with Jason sore mouth and all it would be like pulling teeth to go out with out him. Hehehehehe.

Weather is great even here in Northern Ontario....but I have family obligations...and all the parents, cousins, in-laws and out-laws won't fit on the boat, so I guess I hafta go to them :(

Maybe Sunday for a sunset sail :)

To hull with the honey do list, she's waited this long, a little longer won't killer her. She convinced me to buy the boat and I told when good weather is forecasted for the weekend things won't be getting done around the house. We sailed 2 evenings this week. She loved it. :) I might even take Tuesday off, if the weather will be as nice as the weather man tell us it will be. 8)

I actually got an early start.

This is our first year in a slip, and we decided to take advantage of a nice evening. The Delaware River is just a half hour from here sooooooo at five o:clock this evening my wife, her mother and I went to the boat. We had over two hours on the river with no one else around. It was great. We will definitely be out both Sunday and Monday. I'm sure it will not be quite so quiet.

As a side note, it turns out there is a guy in the marina who has a 1988 Mac 26. As I was motoring by his slip, he looked up and inquired where do I attach the back-stay? It was the first M he's ever seen.

I hope you told him about the infrared-beam backstay.

Works every time.
