Allright, I'm outta here!

Post by mike »

Tomorrow morning we cast off for our first trip in our 26X. We're heading off to the Mississippi barrier islands for 4 or 5 days. The boat is fueled and stocked with all but the perishable food items, and we're all ready to go.

Wish us luck!

You'll need some luck with this weather. What was left of that storm that beat up on Texas came through yesterday and knocked out my 4DTV receiver and toasted my computer surge board. I watched the thing go through from south Georgia. Wish I'd been here to hit the main.

Looking forward to hearing from you when you return. I too have yet to sail on an extended trip in my Mac.

Good Luck! :)

Same here. Haven't even used the porta potty yet.
Is that not living or what?

Not exactly as planned...

(hence my recent discussions of engine problems).

On a brighter note, we did have a great time, and can't wait to try again next month!

I do have some pics, but I still need to sort through them.
