To find leaks inside, the Great Don Casey recommends using water soluble marker on the bulkhead. You can draw a line up high and leave it to see any runs.

I seriously doubt any core was used for the Hull of the MacGregor Boats. Core is only used in the Deck to reduce weight. More weight low down on the Boat is a good thing.

That said, have never drilled through the bottom of the Boat, so do not know the thickness of the solid fiberglass.

I completely agree with BilgeMaster about the Title of a used Trailer. If it doesn't have a title, don't buy it.
