Am looking for a mod tip re; a cockpit seat in front of companionway
with the A/c mounted up under looked like a great design but cannot
find to review the specs.

AC cockpit seat design
The linked installation looks damn good. My variant is hung in a custom companionway door.

It works well for us....and, when not needed, remove a couple bolts, and the standard hatch cover may be used.
