Self Adhesive Loops To Hold Those Coiled Ropes

I always coil up my furler line but then have no place to hang it in the cockpit. Same with the main halyard. Here's a solution... 3M Command Adhesive Cord Bundlers.

Is that being obsessive compulsive - - -or just a sailor? I'm afraid my lines, sheets and haylards are ALL OVER THE PLACE on my boat - - - - but I know who and where they are : - - - I think

Are they UV resistant?

Does the packaging indicate a weight limit, or conditions that might limit use; i.e. moisture.

The package says they are rated to two pounds. In use on the boat, they seem to do fine with my furler line and main halyard.

I don't know if they are UV resistant..... but then for $2.50 a piece, if they go bad, I'll replace 'em.

I recently got a pair of these, same idea though they screw in. I don't have too much faith in self-adhesive long-term.

I have one each side of the mast for the main halyard and reefing lines respectively. Previously I'd coil up the halyard and try to wedge it on the cleat but it would never stay - these things are really handy. Of course if all your lines lead back to the cockpit there's probably not much need.

Larks Head on the lifeline for me. Looks real Nautical.

I like 3M stuff though - that is a neat solution, and for 2 bucks you cant go wrong. If they do hold up okay for UV you could probably attach them with some 4200 (not 5200) and stop worrying about them falling off.
