Bayou Grande Marina

Post by 4Havin'fun »

This is a big picture. It is of the Bayou Grande Marina on the Pesacola NAS. I normally keep our MAC in the dry storage lot. the There was a canvas cover inside storage. My estimate is that there were 150 boats in this marina maybe even more

What a shocking and heartbreaking image.... those boats look like grains of rice piled up.

I was there a couple months ago asking about 'parking' fees. $34 a month. Many power boats and most of the 'parking' areas had the forbidden power line across.

I'll just be here for a few days and then I'll pull out.

$34 a month.

11 bucks a night pier side, no facilities. Heat your coffee on a Coleman and pee into the sea.

I wandered around this marina. Many big boats, clippers, yawls, etc. Most must be jointly owned; very expensive looking stuff. It's when I spotted the distinctive black stripped little sticked Mac on the end of a row' and realized how small she is.

Described like rice after the storm. I should hope they can pull all this apart and get organized again. Unlike Galveston, didnt see any beached on the other side of the roadway.

Mother in laws place is over there. Reports heard that no trees are left in the yard and one bursted window. Going over this weekend with a chainsaw and some puddy.
