tough to give a good read-out on my speeds as i am always carrying alot of people and junk poorly balanced mast rigged, boom stowed, 24 gal gas and a 50 qt cooler in the aft end
best speed empty-balast with clean un-finished bottom 2 adult men - 5700 rpm 18.4 mph per gps rarely if ever have had more than 5700 rpm
current average full of bodies - no ballast - 15.5 mph 5500 rpm epoxied bottom, fouled prop, towing tube with 4 kids

full ballast - and all those people 13.1 at 5300

no ballast and all the people and gear - 4800 rpm usually gives around 12.5-13 mph

People = 2 adults and 5 kids aged 14, 14, 12, 12, 8
