Picture of Mac25 with keel deployed.

Post by DennisandAlison »

This is kind of a test to see if I can post a picture in this forum. A couple of weeks ago the Admiral, me, and a buddy of ours took our M25 out of Kings Harbor. The winds were very calm and water was flat and glassy. We pretty much motored out till we were over Redondo Canyon.

Since we had an experienced hand with us, Alley and I jumped in to the water to cool off. I was not able to get both the boat and keel in the shot, but if you've never seen a swing keel out it's surprising just how far down it sets.

It drafts almost exactly 6 inches deeper than the water near that little island in that awesome little cove in that wonderful lake last weekend.
