You can't mean this guy:

You must be talking about this good looking guy:

Nice site Jim. One of my girls is now hot on doing websites, so she is loading our pix from Cuttyhunk into a site as we speak...

Yes indeed.

The one I like to use lately is http://sitemeter.com/
They email me hit stats every week. I can see entry/exit pages. Pretty cool stats. Some will give you google map-like stats of hits.

Google "Site tracker". There are zillions of them.

I have one host that charges me $2.40 / year with full control panel, 500megs, PHP, 100 email accounts all kinds of stuff.
But for other stuff I go with real hosts for $50/year.

I found a simple free site counter. I have it set to count different visitors not individual visits to the site.

It seems to be working well. It does email me the stats once a week...but what good does that do me...I am not trying to sell anything.

Very happy with my free google site...except I can't access it at work...googles websites are blocked.

Cheers,
Jim

I had a little difficulty teasing out all the details from some of these posts (actually, it is a nice Sunday aftrnoon, and I didn't have the patience to try), but I have found the Shutterfly share site recently as a way to "share" the photos of a recent round trip on my 26X (American Spirit) from Sanford, Florida, to Jacksonville on the St. Johns River. So far I am pleased with the service. I suppose it is more of a place to load your photos, but there is also plenty of opportunity to journal and "share" thoughts" between self and other members. Just a suggestion. It is totally free.
