LIFELINE PELICAN

Post by KEVIN'S OWN »

Does anyone know the part number or correct size for the Pelican hook on the life line? In getting the cover off our :macm: the tarp must have snagged the ring ding, pulled it off and subsequently we lost the plunger :? . Sent a fax to the factory 2 days ago - still waiting for an answer. Thanks.

I don't think that the pelican hooks are a factory item. Give Blue Water Yachts a call.

You can buy them at West Marine...they are rather pricey. I think they come in standard sizes...take your other one off and take it in to ensure you get the right size.

I had this happen several times and came to the conclusion that these pelican hooks are unsafe. I replaced them with these:

Appreciate the assistance. Called Blue Water Yachts and they are sending me a replacement.
Thanks!
