Interesting video demonstrating Beneteau's new Dock & Go system. It shows a 50' Beneteau turning on a dime and parallel parking.
See it
HERE.
I want to be able to do that with my 26M.

You can't quite parallel park but the technique known as back and fill is good to know

Indeed, as Steph says, "back and fill" is the only way to go in tight spaces, and you don't really need a thruster.
Here's a movie of how it's done:

For an extra $400,000, you can.

Back and Fill, very nice. Never saw that before.
Learn something new every day.
Have to practice that the next time out.
Thanks for enlightening me.

I can furnish & install thrusters on you Mac 26 for less than $10,000.
If you want to spend $400.000 we can furnish and install a helicopter system and you can sell your trailor.

John, if I had $400,000.00 to spend, I doubt that I would be spending it on accessories for a Mac.
Not that there is anything wrong with a Mac.
(reminds me of a Jerry Seinfeld episode )

I've got a great idea for a million-dollar mod for a MacGregor 19 - dinghy davits!
They'd go on a Gunboat catamaran, so I could use it to carry the Mac across the oceans....

If I had $400,000 to spend,
I would have an exotic Sailing yacht with a Mac 26 hanging in the davits.

All we need is a bow thruster, we already have the outboard to act as a sail drive.
I come into the Dock ramp that is exposed for a mile in 2-3 ft. following seas often, sometimes I have to anchor and sober up to plan the tactical maneuver in advance.
