I have a 5" hole saw that I am going to use to drill a hole in the top board . On the inside I am going to cut a rectangluar piece of tinted lexan to cover this 5"hole . I will bolt the two together with some caulk between the plywood and lexan .

After closing myself up with the boards , I decided a porthole would be nice .

Another variation that we're very pleased with:

It rolls up into the sliding hatch when not in use.

In theory, there is no difference between theory and practice;
In practice, there is.

I'll have the boat home next week and will try to take some pics. I thought I copied the A/C mount thing from here, but I didn't see it looking just now.captronr wrote:Could you (if you haven't done so already) please post pictures of this mod? It sounds really great. Thank you.
