So after working on her for 2.5 months, I got everything ready. Still needs some cosmetic stuff and a bit of interior work but, that is next. We sailed off of the Santa Barbara coast yesterday. Not a whole lot of wind, but there were a couple of puffs.
Everything worked well and we had a great time. The trailer need some attention as well.
Anyway, I want to thank everyone here that helped me out. I have learned a TON by reading the old posts.
I'm hooked.

Congrats on First Sail. I gather you are in the SB area. Ya gotta go to Santa Cruz Island. Fryes Harbor. Need a permit for the Owner. Beautiful place. Fair winds and full Sails....

Yeah I plan on getting out there someday for sure. I want to be very familiar with the boat before I do that one. I'll sail mainly in the SB channel and at Lake Cachuma. It is a very nice lake that gets westerly winds every afternoon. It's a large lake and there are already several sailboats on it. I was talking to one owner that has their Catalina 22 in there. They love it.
I think the Admiral is way more likely to enjoy sailing on the lake with calm water rather than the channel which can get a bit choppy.
Thanks.

Sounds like you got off to a great start with the 25. I've sure had a lot of fun with mine. Do you have a spinnaker?

No spinnaker. Just a jib and a mainsail. I do have a genoa, but I want to get familiar with the jib first...
