Nice show, no Mac dealers.

I am always a bit nonplussed by the strong presence of Wisconsin dealers (or various kinds) and the paucity of Indiana dealers (of any kind).

I know dlandersson is going, anyone else? Would be great to meet the area Mac owners in person. Divecoz, are you still in Illinois?

I enjoyed the show. It would have been nice to see a Mac there. While working at the Good Old Boat booth, I think that I could have sold three Macs during conversations with various attendees. :)

I toured the Hunter Edge there ($49995.00) That boat as some nice features but I definitely made the right choice for me with my :macm: !

First off I apologize for not calling you when I got there dlanderson. The Admiral wanted to make it a Family event at the last minute and the kids were not being cooperative. She was great and took them into the pier for shopping so I could do my browsing.
Anyway I spent some boat bucks. I bought these dual color led's for the cabin http://www.sailorsams.com/mall/imtra_le ... _color.asp They come one red and you can switch to white if you turn off the switch and back on within 4 sec. Price was same as online... :(
Got a garhauer mainsheet and will use my old one for backstay adjuster.
Harken lead block kit for my furler
Got my boat name lettering done so now we can please Neptune.
Talked to Jackson park yacht club, Poor man's yacht club, Waukegan yacht club.... Still not sure where to keep her yet.
Now the wait......come on spring!

Ualpow.....have you looked at North Point/ Winthrop Harbor? Check their website. I have seen a number of Xs and Ms based there over the past couple years. I rent transient slips depending on my schedule........we love it.

Yeah, I parked mine at the bounce house and mini sailboat pool.

I looked at the yacht clubs too - they are not marinas necessarily. Poor mans for example, doesn't actually have slips. :o
