Spent the weekend up in Powell River when the storm of the year hit. This was the marina in front of the hotel. Power outages, trees all over the road and lines. Good storm :P Also who owns the blue and the white M's in PR? Saw the blue one down town and the white up in the burbs. Good looking boats

Great sailing video from Alaska. If I had my :macx: over that far my wife would lose it. Great to see the boat holding that heel angle so well. How long did you sail in that steady breeze?

two or three hours, just out in front of the harbour. I think this was the last or second last weekend before we took it back to the lake for october. The admiral has unwillingly gotten used to the heel but you can see her feet highside once or twice. She usually lounges lowside cause its easier to kickback, but requires changes sides. 8)

Nice, there is already a topic "picture contest" perhaps there should be a topic "video contest" with real mac sailing action...(without harming mac's ,admirals, etc) 8) .

Nice!!!

Love the look on the dog's face...wonder what he was thinking... 8)

But you do lose a few style points for sailing in that absolutely gorgeous setting with your fenders hanging over the side...tacky...

What was the temperature? If below 40 in those winds then you gain all those style points back...

Cheers,
Jim

Maybe it's a southern thing, but I'm more interested in the sailing rather than how I look doing it :P

Video of Taiya looks awesome Bob. It is on my agenda to take our boat down there and maybe sail to Juneau but I think I need to spend one more summer on the Southern Lakes before I venture to salt water.

Was wondering what is that black device you have mounted on the starboard side of your cockpit?

Electric Downrigger. Awesome. I sent it to them too. Was wondering if they got it. :)

Nice shot of the rotating mast position. What was your speed?
Bumpers on tne high side help balance the boat, right?

Most dogs bark: "ruff, ruff" I think yours might be barking: "reef Reef" :)

BTW, I am a fender offender too. The admiral, being a racer, is always on me about that. Not much room to put them on deck. Hanging them on the lifeline while sailing instead of on the base of the stations looks legal to me. Putting them down below just gets things dirty.
