Hey guys.. new to this forum. When I go to the Australian forum to put a post up it directs me to the main forum.
I have acquired a 1994 Mac 26S Classic and would like to make friends with some local people in the South East Queensland area. I live on the Sunshine Coast. (very wet at the moment. not complaining we need the rain.)
Not too bad in condition the only real issue is some what I think are very small mould speckles in the anti skid. Also there is no drain plug to remove
any water that may have made itself into the hull (rain or washing) The usual from what I gather broken cable to the centerboard requires attaching as well.
Cheers
Rick

The Australia forum is open to all, but you must join. Do this by going to your User Control Panel (in the light blue band above) and clicking on the Usergroups tab, then join the groups that you desire. At a minimum, I suggest the Front Room, which is used for a lot of off topic discussions.

Welcome Rick can I suggest for anything specific to your boat you still include queries on the general forum as you are more likely to get hits for advice on your particular boat there, not sure how many S boats there are out here but will be way more worldwide.

When the weather claims down we should be on the water soon.
Have a chat to Sunshinecoasting he is on the sunny coast and has an
and should be able to answer any question's you might have.
Once again welcome.

Thanks guys.
I will keep an eye on the posts here and on the Careel forum as my last boat was a Careel 18. I have made contact with one gentleman a few weeks ago.
I need to do a bit of diving under the boat to sort out the centerboard retractor cable. Otherwise its a boat out onto the hardstand at Maloolaba.
