fiberglass hull liner cracks & failure

Hello everyone. I have a 1989 26d. The fiberglass hull liner does have some cracks in the gel coat, but some of the damage seems to be failure due to it being paper thin. Now I know this is an older boat, but how do I go about repairing the problem areas? Is there something I can do to prevent further damage?

Can you post pix? Spiderweb cracks are pretty normal in older gelcoat and nothing to worry about.
