UUUGH!
I was having the bottom coat removed. So I took out the centerboard to strip & paint the CB cavity. & I found this:
I thought I painted these correct. But it must have been a few years ago. & I may not have known better then to barrier coat or prime ur metal properly & then use an appropriate bottom paint like a Trilux 33 on metal

While speaking of galvanic corrosion, regular checks of the aluminium trailer is definitely worthwhile methinks. Aluminium frame + steel bolts without a barrier are a likely long term risk. Im hoping to be able to add some barium chromate to those joints soonish.
My 97 has a stainless pin, that one looks brass or bronze. the flat plate is also stainless steel, there should be no corrosion unless two different metals.
