The video is not available. I am using a Samsung Galaxy Tab S which is likely the culprit. I should post a new topic on this thing. :x

how is your cutter rig set up, with a bow sprit, or did you just drop an inner stay down for a smaller jib?

I just added an inner small jib (7' foot).

No need to add an inner fore-stay because the sail has a wire luff, but I did add an extra mast hound (into the existing holes where the travel-crutch bolts) and an extra halyard, the tack is attached to the same existing foredeck pad-eye that is used for the mast raining system.

It doesn't add a ton more power, but does create a little more lift upwind as long as you can keep the slot open and flowing (as in the video), but it does add a lot of fun under the right conditions.

We also have a heavy orange storm-sail with batons that is hoisted in the same position under heavy winds.

I have to admit, the first time I tried to put the boat back on the trailer, this was my first thought. Practice and guide bunks have made it better, but I still wish for a powerful bow thruster (in a tunnel).
