Ken, really cool.
What a rough trip, not comfortable at all. I think we have determined a Mac could make it....but I wouldn't want to do it:

Merit 25
The several Merit 25s I have seen look similiar to the X with a white hull and black stripe. However that is where the similarity ends. Fast racers under sail, not much headroom in the cabin and no power planning capabilities.
