well, I for one liked the story. After returning from my around the world cruise in my V W van I decided to check and see if the captain throws his X mate in with her new lover, fire up the motor and leave them to the shark. But NO. I guess ill check on the story if I can remember too next time I wonder if the shark gets to eat. :macm: confluence

I would think the user name RicK62 is available.Perhaps someone else is creative at the keyboard and will continue the tale. A bit of a sneaky trick, but I have seen it work before...

Rick made a sudden and unexpected departure from sailing, he sold his boat around the last post date, I never really found out why but have my thoughts on the matter which were personal to Rick and should probably remain unknown. However I never heard from him again and suspect he won't return to sailing or this forum. I believe he lived in or around Gympie so I doubt I will see him around the marina on the sunny coast. That's all I know. Cheers.

Thanks Sunshinecoasting!

Bittersweet to know of Rick62 sale of his Mac26X and departure from sailing (but glad that to the best one can know that he was ok).

Hope all of you in the Southern Hemispheres have a Joyful, Happy and Healthy Holiday Season!
Hope you all have a warm season sail and post lots of pictures and adventures while those of us in the frozen Norther Hemispheres can be envious as snow and ice accumulate :D :D
