Cockpit coaming box

Has anyone installed something like this?
Would they fit on the 26M?
How much space is there behing the seat-back outside? would they fit?
I am away from the boat now, but I would by a pair if I see them in a marine store and If I would know how they could fit.
Going to Quebec City next week for a course, and then home for spring fit-out
