Our son was working on a low budget movie and volunteered our boat for a scene they were shooting.
It's a low budget Christian based film (hence our boat being volunteered). We weren't there when the film crew shot it, but it was fun to finally see the scene. The character was living on his sailboat. Luna got the gig.
They never found a distributor and it went straight to DVD, but our boat is a movie star.

My junior year in high school, I was an Exchange Student to Brazil. I've been in some discussions with a minor producer about putting my experiences during that year on film. I always thought the film should begin as me and a friend are walking across the docks to my Mac and when he sees the name of my Mac, he asks a question about it and that would start the story. The story would be a series of vignettes of the year and there would bits of sailing as the pieces are joined.
Ray, actually no. I wasn't there for the shoot so I didn't know where they set it up or anything about the scene.
Interesting, I went back to watch it again to see what you meant. I just now noticed there was a female in the aft berth with him at the end of the scene.

It was a low budget Christian movie. Not a lot of blockbuster demand for them. Not sure if you can stream it anywhere. It's on DVD.
I got it on eBay. Yea, eBay. But hey, our son has a tiny tiny part as "Policeman #2" and has screen credit. The producer is a friend of ours.
