mast rising system, mast bail missing

Post by gianpaolo »

hi all
my mast bail of the mast rising system fell in the water (i'm sorry if you american friends could hear my swearwords brought by te wind from Italy where my boat is docked) now my worry is to find a new one. my question is, could anyone check for me the distance of the holes (that I suppose the diameter of the mast).
The one I found from a seller on the internet is 115 mm (4,52 inches), could that be suitable?
I'll be checking for a kind answer
Thanks in advance

Did you loose the bolt as well?

They are not critical and can be bent a little (in or out) for a closer fit.
The new ones from are Triangular http://shop.bwyachts.com/product-p/3402-110.htm

Gian it's a shame this didn't happen earlier in the year .... I visited Italy back in June and I have a spare Mast Bail I could have given you.
All the best.
