I’m looking at pictures of the BWY bimini and full enclosure and it looks like their Bimini is too short to stand in ? That is the definite advantage of Dowsar at double the cost.
Is local fabrication even an option ?
I better look at amazon and eBay ... never can tell

Re: Best X Bimini
Unless you're planning on just motoring... standing room under a Bimini means no sailing with the Bimini (unless you're real short - My Admiral qualifies). My Bimini is about 62 inches at the high point (little less where the boom comes across). Admiral is 59".sailfish02 wrote: ↑Sun Apr 18, 2021 9:45 am I’m looking at pictures of the BWY bimini and full enclosure and it looks like their Bimini is too short to stand in ? There’s standing room for me under the Dowsar, and I’m 5’-11”. But it starts short of the end of the boom. That makes it a small Bimini, but it does still provide shade for the helmsman. Which is almost exclusively me, so I’m happy.Inquisitor wrote: ↑Sun Apr 18, 2021 12:05 pmUnless you're planning on just motoring... standing room under a Bimini means no sailing with the Bimini (unless you're real short - My Admiral qualifies).

Re: Best X Bimini
Speaking of that beautiful Dowsar Bimini, I was on their website yesterday and was unable to order a Bimini because their order cart is broken.
So I emailed the company and got no reply
So I called the company and got a voicemail saying that they were close because they were all on vacation until September. This is a marine supply company closed in August???

Re: Best X Bimini
I purchased
https://oceansouth.us/product/3-bow-bim ... ft-length/
Without the fishing rocket launcher.
I cut down the primary mounting pole to make it shorter, the rear pole is adjustable and I moved it to its shortest position.
Seems well made, good fabric, has a nice pocket to store it when folded up.
The frame is aluminum, snaps together, mounts are plastic, but seems well made.
Not as tough as the older 1 piece but plenty good enough for my usage and the price was acceptable.
The length is just right to fit between the backstay and overlap the boom by several inches, but not too far forward that you can not operate the boat.
Highly recommend for the price range.
