Looking for ways to clean light scuff-sratches from my tinted windows. Found a great method (University of YouTube, link below), but apparently there is a difference between Lexan and Polycarbonate. Polycarbonate can be heat repaired... Lexan requires polishing. Does anyone know which material is used by MacGregor?
Mac 26D - Windows, Lexan or Polycarbonate?

Re: Mac 26D - Windows, Lexan or Polycarbonate?
By OP: Never mind, I found my own answer. Per BWY: The Mac windows are Lexan (polycarbonate) with integral bronze-tint. Heat removal of scratches will not work... polish is required. Here from US Plastics:
Repairing Hairline Scratches
Scratches and minor abrasions may be minimized by using a mild automobile polish. Four such products that tend to polish and fill scratches are Johnson Paste Wax, Novus Plastic Polish #1 and #2 (Novus Inc., Minneapolis, MN), Mirror Glaze plastic polish (m.G.M10 – Mirror bright Polish Co., Pasadena, CA), and Plexus* (B.T.I. Chemical, Aguora, CA). It is suggested that a test be made on a sample of Lexan™ sheet with the product selected and that the polish manufacturer's instructions be followed.
Some Important "Don'ts"
DO NOT use abrasive or highly alkaline cleaners on Lexan™ sheet products.
DO NOT scrape Lexan™ sheet products with squeegees, razor blades or other sharp instruments.
DO NOT use gasoline, benzene, acetone, or carbon tetrachloride on Lexan™ sheet products.
DO NOT clean Lexan™ sheet products in direct sunlight or at elevated temperatures.

That's still a valuable video.
I have polycarbonate panels for the main hatch. They are pretty scratched up. I may try the heat. No biggie if I make it worse.

Novus #1/#2/#3 .. great stuff.
This is used in Pinball machines for buffing out internals.. and playfields made with plastic coated playfields (diamond plate)
Used it lots.. always rub 90 degrees to the scratch with 3 and 2..
Start with #2 as it often does the job #3 is very abrasive
