Yes, you’re right!
Shipping things between Canada and the United States got a lot more complicated since 2016… which led to the new USMCA which went into effect on July 1, 2020 … but fortunately have gotten a bit easier in the last year or so. Some of the restrictions have eased up and the shippers processes have gotten up to speed as well.
