ANYONE, 3'' gate valve...

Post by WD »

Hi all,

Working on getting my new to me 26X ship shape for the spring :) i just removed the 3" gate valve and ordered new seals, but i notice when i took out the 4 mounting screws that they have some form of 'white stuff' on them so i am wondering when i put it back on is there some form of sealant i should include in the screw holes? Perhaps plumbing silicone tape or such like?

Cheers, Bill

3M 4200 is what I would use.
