Hi All!

Here’s a project that can really help with keeping your boat afloat longer as things on board may tend to get older and stiffer over time.
Relatively simple to do but with big rewards!
(And it’s something experienced boaters tend to already do when afloat!!! It’s just translating it ashore.)
As we all have boat and house “To-Do-List” items to accomplish, even during the ‘off-season’, this is a mod that can pay dividends!

A lot of good pointers for those of us with a few more miles (and inches) on us than we'd care to admit to.

When I was younger I'd never consider about how my current activity was going to affect my long-term health. If I gave it any consideration it was more along the lines of, "This is going to make a great story some day!". Now, thinking back on the origins of some of the more persistent aches and pains I deal with on a regular basis, I'd like to pass on to the younger members the advice I gave to each of my children: "Don't do anything I shouldn't have done."

Nah! On second thought, I'd do it all again. It was worth it! One of the best parts of getting old is having great stories to tell your grand-kids!
