Wow! We thought you were in Florida so 1300 miles is a bit of a trip to find water in New York!

Just kidding!
We found your post about your upcoming Canadian trip!
That sounds wonderful!

First - Congratulations on your recovery! That must have been a challenging journey. We are very glad that you are now cancer free!
Second - THANK YOU for sharing your story with others here on the forum. We appreciate that you are willing to share your experiences and your willingness to help others should they be challenged with a similar situation. THANK YOU!
Third - If your plans have you traveling by Beaufort SC before July please feel free to contact us! We have an open spot on our driveway with electric and water for overnights. There is also Hunting Island SC State Park which is on the Atlantic shore and a great place to camp with a Mac! We’ve done it a couple times and really enjoyed it.

Hi All!

It seems that the fates are beginning to intervene again this year with our ICW trip plans.
Family schedules and some medical issues that have arisen look like the window for a Spring trip is narrowing.
Might even have to curtail our planned three month season back a month as we may have to go north early. Phhbbbttttt! Fribble!

The Admiral is suggesting we could possibly come back down South in September/October and try our trip then …..
So much for long term advanced planning ….
Well two months on the water is better than no months on the water.

Another alternative that comes to mind is to just scrap the ICW plans for this year and possibly look into an alternative like Lake Champlain to the Champlain Canal and on further to the Hudson River … but that is a real long shot with lots of logistics and complexity and scheduling that would need to be worked out…low odds of pulling that off

Life is what it is… just gotta roll with it.
