MDR, CA - Father's Day Sail Sunday June 18

Post by Mark Karagianis »

Going out for the day with my two sons if any other Macs are interested in a basic day-sail. I'm planning to stay close-in as the weather forecasts show 12-15 kt late-morning & afternoon winds near the coast. Looks like it will be best to do the usual morning close reach out to Malibu and afternoon broad reach back. 3-5' swells. It's gonna be perfect early summer - the kind of weather that we get just before the transition to the big inland heat-up, and then there's no wind.

Trailer to MDR 8:30, rig, launch 9:45 am. Mark

Instead of passing the "Grey Poupon" we'll practice passing the Two Buck Chuck from boat to boat. If ya dropit, well, it ain't Freanch wine!
