Nicro vent warning.... GRRRRRR

Post by Catigale »

I bought a 3 inch SS NICRO vent to replace my Plastic one on the foredeck and it doesnt fit the 3 inch mount plate previously installed.... :x .....The snout on the new one is a bit wider than the other so I have to either grind the snout, plate, both or Plan B.

SOmething to watch if you decide to change vents.....

Sorry to vent....

must be the same design team that designed the air scrubber cannisters for the spacecrafts on Apollo 13. LOL

WHY would they do that? Unreal!

Oh Oh, now I'll have to throw away half my stuff (probably a good thing) :P Another place I would LOVE to visit again but wouldn't want to live there :?

My neighbor is a flight attendant for United, mostly flying to Asia.
When going to China, she's there for 3 to 4 days & packs 100% of her menu in her luggage! :|

We used to say the same things about Japan then Taiwan & S. Korea even Thailand. But they seemed to pick out niche's in the market. China is dumping in everything!

I just returned from a business trip to Mexico and they are upset that some of the work that used to be sent to them is now being off loaded to China.

My Mexican hosts couldn't figure out why I started to grin when they started griping about China, Hummmmmmm.

Last March I was in China and saw how they manufacture some of the products we buy here. All I can say is it "AIN'T" the best way ta build stuff.

Yep like why are call centers in India when Mexico has quite a few Bi-Lingual residents and a heck of lot closer too!

Well, Steve, I'm sorry I said that! I didn't mean to turn your thread into a USA vs (you name the country)... I was just pointing out that it may be made in another country - likely China - and they tooled it differently...

The difference between China and other 3rd worlds, China wants to do the work and will do it cheaply so that they can get the technology. Once they have that from you, they start their own company as a direct compete and make it impossible for you to continue working with them.

When I was living there a UN study found that 2/3s of all Chinese had intestional parasites, so if you are sitting at a round table with 8 or 10 Chinese helping yourself from the common dishes on the lazy susan in the middle - if you aren't infected, odds are your neighbors will be.
Still I had a good time there while it lasted and the people were really friendly and pleasent.
