where to cleat

havent sailed in almost 10 years
just got a 91 M26s
when hauling the main or jib where does eveyrone cleat the halyards off -- high on the mast, or low, it seems this boat has about 5 cleats on the mast, 2 down, 2 high and 1 kinda sorta middle
I just cant remember where I cleated off on my old (94 M26s) boat

Roger provides just 2 mast cleats on the powersailer, one on either side of the mast.
They're mounted slightly above the height of the boom's gooseneck.
