A LONG WAY FROM U.S.A.

Post by puggsy »

Recently brought SEAHORSE home from Fremantle to Hillarys...on the way passed a State icon...the Cottesloe pylon. In normal conditions, surfers scoot past it to the beach. And if there is a swell running, you would not get near it...but not the day we passed it...So we took the opportunity and CIRCUMNAVIGATED IT. Locals of Western Australia will appreciate the view, considering only a few weeks ago it was demolished in a storm...

Hi Miss U...welcome to the board...No, not during this last week...In fact it blew so hard it actually dislodged the mast from my 'new' fitting on the bow...and I had to strengthen it somewhat...
Remember the news film footage of Cott. during that storm? Awesome...
