I have a friend who just picked up a 24' Venture. He's wanting to know if the ballast is lead or iron in that boat. I think it's a 1970 model.
Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

I believe that the V-24 used a FG/steel keel. The V-24 was produced from 1969-1971, when they added a pop-top and continued production into 1974, as a V-2-24.
