Would an S fit on an X trailer?

Post by vitger »

Would a 26S model fit on an 2000 X trailer? Any major mods required that you guys can think of?

Thanks!

It might fit lengthwise but the bottom shape is a lot different so the bunks would have to be

Sum is right.
Have an old X trailer in my back yard. The V shape of the cross members is much sharper (or deeper) on the S/D trailer.
The X has a very flat bottom, compared to the S/D boats

The X trailer cross members would have to be cut out and new ones fabricated and welded in place.

For temporary use, one might build some kind of bunks that are blocked up, somehow on the outside ends.
