I'm taking Relackson up to the Gold Coast Seaway and Moreton Bay from middle of May until first week of June. Planning on leaving the car and boat somewhere for 4-6 weeks and fly home. When I come back plan to take the boat up to Fraser Island for a month or so, and then head back to the cold south.
Would like to catch up with fellow Maccas, if anyone interested.
Hope you blokes up there put on the good weather for a now-starting-to-feel-winter-approaching Victorian.
Stan

Hi Dennis
Thanks for the positive weather outlook. Hope it is good to me.
If I get up to the Sunshine Coast, I'll certainly give you a call.

Re: Gold Coasting in May
Hey guys,
Drop me a line as well.
I would love to come for a sail. I usually launch at Maloolaba boat ramp. I seem to be the only trailer sailer there amongst all the stink boats.
I live at Cooroy 25 minutes west of Noosa heads and work at Gympie. Would be interested doing a circumnavigation of Fraser if I can manage
the time off.
Cheers
Rick

Re: Gold Coasting in May
Hi Stan, We would have like to had caught up you and shown you around the Great Sandies, we could have arranged a Mac regatta
but unfortunately the Misses at Easter fell on our
and broke her leg, which cut our week to ten days sailing from Tin Can Bay to Hervey Bay and back very short, she fell on day one and will be out of action for six weeks
Rick circumnavigation of Fraser at this time year is very possible for the weather is ideal, but the Great Sea Spit can be a bit treacherous in any type of weather, it has claimed a few vessels in its passed both large and small.
Its great sailing here on the Fraser Coast in any type of boat, this has been our stomping ground for most of our lives just the best
Cheers

Hi Fresh Breeze
Sorry to hear about your wife. Very disappointing for you both - but these things happen. Hope she makes full recovery soon.
Hope to catch up in the future.
