It's been wonderful on the lake, though we left last weekend for home here in Phila.
Where are you on the lake? We've got a house on Point Au Fer but have not installed a dock yet.

We were just up for the long weekend Kevin. Launched Sat. at the Mallets Bay ramp in Colchester and spent Sat & Sun nights on the east shore of Valcour Island, the next cove up from Spoon Bay. We originally wanted to make North Beach at Burlington, but the weather conditions would've made it a long wet sail.

Looks like North America's sixth Great Lake was in great form. Thanks for sharing the video.

Nice video...but yes: time to update that flip-phone camera
.
I feel somewhat reassured to see that your leeward sidestay is as loose as mine in a breeze.
I can see how rough the lake was...but somehow the photos and videos never do the size of the waves justice. I have a photo or two of me sailing with at least three foot waves and the pictures make them look like ripples.

Video was taken on my several years old Kodak Easy Share C183... got a GoPro on the way!Starscream wrote:Nice video...but yes: time to update that flip-phone camera.

The camera didn't get wet cause the clown holding it didn't slide off the deck while hooking a toe around the mast to lean overboard while getting the shot! Got some GP grips & mounts on order too!
