Trailer winch wire recommendation

Post by Catigale »

I'm thinking of converting my winch to wire and am wondering if anyone can guide me on type and diameter.

I upgraded to a heavier duty winch on my :macm: and it came with 6mm (1/4 inch) galvanised steel cable. I think when I replace it I will use spectra..

i had, thinking I will still have a stretch problem but maybe I should rethink that. How do you attach strap to a stock :MACx: winch?
