Zero Feedback Steering (NFB)
Who has installed an NFB Steering Systems on their Macgregor and how do you like it? Is there anyone apposed to an NFB Steering System?

Do you have an example of such a system. Sounds like steer by wire using a joystick -- or as experienced by those of us with autopilots. In this case we have NFB capability but retain the wheel and all the feedback involved. When on autopilot, I adjust course with the buttons on the control head - these have no feedback. I am fine letting the electronics concentrate on holding course so I can actually look up at the sails or at the cold drink my wife is bringing me (preferable with some chips).

Looking at the link you posted, these are advertised to be used where there is alot of feedback. Our boats have very short cord rudders (as opposed to say a catboat) and there just is not that much force fed back to the wheel.

The N.F.B. system I installed on my
u will loose the feed back while sailing thats the only thing so if u r racing not so good
