Re: Mac at Airventure
I found the owner of the 26X, a pilot and aircraft homebuilder from Indiana. What a GREAT use for a Mac: camp at Airventure, the world's largest airshow, then sail on Lake Winnebago for a week after the airshow. BTW, for you pilots out there, Airventure was fantastic this year. Where else can you see the Navy Blue Angels perform then speak as the "opening act" for a presentation given by half of the original NASA Apollo astronauts (the MC was David Hartman); watch the last two flyable B-29s flying in formation, followed by a B-17, followed by B-25s in a fly-by; and see some of the best airshow pilots in the world perform? BTW, the sole surviving crew member of Doolittle's Raid was there (at 102 years old.) He FINALLY got his catapillar award.
