Sea Toilet

Post by moonie »

Does anybody have a sea toilet fitted to their Mac.
As my boat is based on the Med we need to have a holding tank installed as well.Where could this be fitted as they are too large to go beneath the bunks.

We just have one of those 5 gallon portable MSD units. Works well. A real marine MSD (with water and holding tank) is pretty overkill for a mac IMO. But can be done. It adds weight, complexity. It will also reduce your storage space a lot.

I think someone else on this board plumbed in a real one.

If it effects the balance of the boat I will forget it,but Im interested to find out if anybody has had success in fitting one.

I personally do not like that much weight in the bow of the boat. But it should work.
