26X/26D jib sizes
I've tried searching here and elsewhere but I can't find the info and give up... will the hank on jib from a 26X for on a 26D or vice versa?

Re: 26X/26D jib sizes
If you are looking for jib dimensions, I might be able to help a bit.
I have a 26S, which is basically the same as the D when it comes to sails.
The basic replacement 100% hank-on jib for this boat, as supplied by Blue Water Yachts, is a Rolly Tasker sail with the following dimensions:
Luff 23.375', Leach 21.25', Foot 10'
Not sure if it differs for the X

The key to inner peace is to admit you have a problem and leave it at that.

Thank you. Hoping to find the same info for the 26X.Stickinthemud57 wrote: ↑Sun Sep 25, 2022 5:56 pm If you are looking for jib dimensions, I might be able to help a bit.

I have both, a 26D and a 26X and just picked up a new old stock Doyle hank on jib for the 26X... But my X has a furler, so I'm hoping the 26X hank on jib fits my 26D.
If the 26X hank on jib doesn't fit my 26D, I'll have a "new" sail for sale.

According to sailboatdata.com the "X" jib is 23' x 9.67'.

Re: 26X/26D jib sizes
Not sure how I missed that, but thank you. It looks like the jibs will fit interchangeably. I just scored what appears to be a new old stock Doyle jib labeled 26X for $225 shipped. I'll add it to the sail inventory for my 26D. Assuming this jib is a 100%, I now have an 87%, 100%, 109%, 150%, and an assymetric spinnaker.
I'm still keeping an eye out for the right deal on a couple main sails. My 26D main is good, but not great and the 26X main is pretty much junk.
