What a beautiful day here in the South today!
Bright sunshine and warm sunshine!
The smell of the salt water mixed with that of the pines!
The ebb and flow of the tides and creeks sparkle!
What a perfect day to enjoy the freedom to be out and about.

100 degrees here in Chicago - brutal heat.

Beautifulllll day here.

Had breakfast on the patio; lunch later, then relaxing. We’re not on the water, and don’t expect to be for quite awhile, but this is nothing to complain about.

We had many beautiful days here this summer in Western Canada specifically Alberta/British Columbia being very hot and dry. Unfortunately many of them were marred by forest fires....and their were a lot. Thankfully the plume of smoke from the fire in this pic is across the lake and did not affect us or property. Others in BC specifically North and South Okanogan were hit hard with homes lost to the fires.

The smoke from some of those fires have affected our air quality, over three thousand kilometers away in Philadelphia.

Hi Diandersson!

Having visited Chicago in February on just an airport pass through you might want to figure out how to store that summer heat for later!!! Brrrrrrrrrrrrr it was cold …..and then the wind started to blow !!!

95 F here in Beaufort SC on Saturday while we were out and near dead calm.
But the motoring about provided a bit of a breeze no mater which direction we were headed.
They say it’s cooler when you’re on the water ….. but not by much.
Shade from the Bimini helped… as did the ice water bottles

Stay cool as best as you can and plan for those milder weather Great Lake cruises!

Glad you were out and about! Beautiful picture of your boat on the calm waters.
Those forest fires can really upset things for sure though.
We were getting some of the smoke even as far away as New Hampshire while we were there in July.
It must be disheartening to see so much forest lost and communities damaged.
Be safe and enjoy the water with your boat.
