Bawdy, Do you have any more info on this? Might be worth the drive if there will be other Macs...
-Is this a powerboat (with Macs) welcomed event or any trailer boat thing?
-How many boats? We looking at being able to walk across the lake on the boats or plenty of room to go out for a couple of hours?
-Kid friendly? Don't mind alcohol, but too much (and power boats) can ruin a weekend for everyone.

I will be in Manassas this weekend moving furniture for a daughter. Its about 3 hour drive without a boat . Last year we had 8 or 9 boats and this year I am expecting more . Last years event conflicted with Graduation ceremonies so I moved it up . There will be plenty of room on the lake . Not many power boats untilll the end of May. Just fishermen now . I live on the lake and sail year round . I have never had any problems with the powerboaters here . Just lucky I guess .. Drinking with our group is kept at a very social level . Kids will have full acess to the putt putt and campground facilities . I plan on having my jet ski and powerboat out so Maybe I can entertain the kids with a tube ride (maybe ?)
There are a couple of Macs in Raliegh I hope will be there I cant say for sure . The launch is great for a mac . I have a Macgregor V-24. There are some 22 footers on the lake and one 28 -30 footer I have not met yet . Hope you can make it . The lake will be ours for the weekend Any other ?'s call me at 252-537-5794 (Work)
