MACGREGOR 26X PARTS

Post by Mac Ziggy »

Where do you get parts for a 26X? I need a bow rail and some other hardware. Is a dealer the only option or can you deal with the factory?
My nearest dealer is 200 miles away and I don't really like their "service".

I tried a search and I got 1342 topics.

call the Mac factory and ask for "Bill" about X parts.
tell him your situation and the parts you need.
he'll be able to tell you where to source them.

26X bow rail

Post by mackatt68 »

Several years ago, I couldn't find replacement for my bent forward cockpit rail for my 26X even though several dealers showed it in their parts lists. I ended up sending the opposite rail along with the damaged one to www.topsinquality.com in Michigan, who fabricated a new one from scratch. They did an excellent job considering the compound curves and such.

Thanks Folks. At least I know it's something that can be done. I may be able to get it repaired locally but I need to know my options if that doesn't work.
