Here's something that I almost did last weekend, just wondering if anyone else has a similar story?
My usual routine during the summer is to launch the boat then run to the bank ATM drivethru with trailer in tow before parking. I wide turn the approach to make it straight-shot out.
So last weekend, after hauling out in the evening, I went to the ATM. Wide turn approach, get cash, drive out. As I'm watching my mirror, the port goalpost is too close to the ATM overhead support column. Before backing up, I stuck my head out the window & looked up, realizing just how close my masthead may have come to contacting the drivethru overhead had I been OK to continue forward!
I'm always watching the mirrors / goalposts for side to side clearance & not having to worry about overhead. Anyone else have a come close overhead story?

Never had an issue with the height, other that having to trim all the trees next to our driveway. The overall height on the trailer is just over 10 feet.
I'm always aware of the height,as I have had a few panic moments with the kayaks on top of our CR-V in a parking garage-and going thru the dreaded low bridge on Memorial Drive.
